Crust & Crumbles is an artisan bakery located in Rockford, IL.
Our breads are naturally leavened, slow fermented and crafted entirely by hand using the simplest of ingredients: flour, water, salt. From start to finish, it takes over 48 hours to produce our loaves because we maintain the tradition of using long fermentation to improve overall flavor and quality. We source 100% organic, kosher, non-GMO flour for use in our products.
We do not currently have a retail location. Our loaves can be purchased directly at Rockford City Market, North End City Market, and the Beloit Farmer's Market during the May-October market season. Outside of the market, our loaves are also available through a Community Supported Bakery (CSB) bread-share program that we run throughout the year with weekly bread deliveries to various pick-up sites in the Rockford community. We also supply bread to some of the finest restaurants in our area during the rest of the year.
